Sri Lankan off-spinner, Sachitra Senanayake, has been reported for suspect bowling action at the conclusion of the fourth ODI between England and Sri Lanka.
On-field umpires Marais Erasmus, Ian Gould and third umpire, Chris Gaffaney had suspected that a number of deliveries bowled by the spinner were illegal. They, along with match referee, Jeff Crowe have reported the same and a copy of the report has been given to the Sri Lankan manager.
Senanayake will now have to undergo the ICC testing procedures within 21 days. However, he can continue to bowl in international cricket until the results of the tests are known.
